Description

Casa Filarte (Sleeps 8) is stunning 4 bedroom villa with gated pool, overlooking Carvoeiro and under 1km from the centre, so very close by foot or by car. This modern property is stylishly furnished and showcases some of the owners own artwork. This is a perfect property for 1 or 2 families, well designed for all year rentals.

On entering the property there is a nicely decorated reception area. To the left, is 2 twin bedrooms each with their own shower room. To the right of the reception is a staircase leading to the first floor. Upstairs is a large twin bedroom with en-suite large shower room, with patio doors accessing a terrace with panoramic views of the sea. Also on the first floor is a large double bedroom with patio doors to terrace and an en-suite bathroom with shower over the bath. All bedrooms have good wardrobe space.

The ground floor also hosts the main living areas with an open plan dining and lounge area. There is a TV with Multi-national channels and Fiber WiFi for clients to use, DVD player and music player. There are patio doors that lead onto the covered terrace, which is gated from the pool. For winter lets there is a central fireplace. To the right of the lounge is a fully equipped kitchen with Dishwasher, Oven, Electric Hob, Fridge, Freezer, Washing Machine etc. A back door also leads to the covered terrace.

Outside is a covered terrace with built in BBQ and quality dining furniture, the covered terrace extends along the whole of the back of the house. There are gates which open up onto steps down to the pool terrace area. The pool is 8m by 4m with roman steps starting at a depth of about 1.2m in the shallow end, down to a deep end of 2m, it has a colour warming pool cover. The owners have supplied quality sun beds and umbrellas for the clients. This is a perfect place to relax with the town and the sea in the background. Casa Filartes plot of land expands down into the valley, it is fully fenced.

Casa Filarte is a perfect property for your Algarvian experience, whether to laze by the pool all day and go out in the evenings, or use as a base to explore Portugal, you will not be disappointed.

BOOKING DEPOSIT... A 25% deposit is required on booking. The balance is required 10 weeks prior to guests' arrival

BREAKAGES DEPOSIT...Returnable breakages and damages deposit 500€ to be paid on arrival at the villa.

CHANGE OVER DAY... Normally Saturday but other days maybe considered

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE... Arrival after 15H00 and departure before 10H00.

"This really is a lovely four bedroom villa in a quiet location but within just a few minutes walk down into Carvoeiro. It has a very large lounge and dining area on the ground floor (the photos on the website don't do it justice) and a great kitchen which is very well equipped. All of the bedrooms have their own bathroom or en-suite. Outside there is a huge covered patio area with a BBQ and a table and chairs to seat the whole family. Just down a few steps there is a gated pool which is perfect for children. There's lots of space outside, with a garden area with astro turf covering, again great for children. There are great views over Carvoeiro and the sea and because it's on a hill you get the breeze from the sea when you are by the pool.

We arrived earlier than expected at the villa but Alex was still there to meet us and we were allowed to leave our luggage while the cleaners were finishing off preparing everything for our stay. That meant we could walk down to Carvoeiro to Cafe Fino (10 mins walk away) and grab lunch and a beer or two.

"Fantastic, well- equipped and well-maintained villa in great location with sea views....Lovely, spacious villa situated in Carvoeiro within a couple of mins walk of shops and restaurants and a short stroll from the beach. Various other beaches - including the beautiful Praia da Marinha - just a few minutes drive away. Villa is well-equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay including a variety a pool inflatables and beach, pool and bath towels a-plenty.

Casa Filarte is also well-maintained -and cared for. The cleaning lady visited twice during our 7-day stay and the owner popped in to water the lovely garden and brought us a basket of delicious fresh figs. Alex was very helpful and accommodating and gave us some great recommendations. I had been concerned about the nearby building work that had been mentioned to us at the time of booking but needn't have worried as there was no noise or disruption whatsoever.

"Location Location Location....Having visited Carvoeiro many times this is by far the best located villa we have stayed in. You are 2 mins to a small supermarket bars and restaurants with a further 10 mins walk downhill ( it takes a little longer coming back up the hill!)into the town square and Carvoeiro beach, and a 10 minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to the beautiful Centianes beach. The villa itself beautifully located with great views, very clean and modern with everything you need provided.
