Description
Casa Rostra (Sleeps 8) is a charming 4 bedroom villa, 3 bathrooms with secluded swimming pool, numerous terraces located in a quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac, just 300m from Centianes beach and close to an Italian restaurant. This property is a hidden gem for a group of friends or two families with 2 wings of 2 twin bedrooms joined by a very spacious lounge and dining area.
On entering the property there is a 'home from home' fully equipped kitchen, with washing machine available in the garage. The kitchen opens up onto an extremely spacious living area, with dining table for 8, sofa and chairs, log fire (perfect for the winter), TV with IPTV English and Multinational channels. In addition there is fiber WiFi, DVD player, ipod docking station, English and German books and a selection of card games.
Casa Rostra has 4 twin bedrooms and 3 bath/shower rooms. Each wing of the villa has 2 twin bedrooms, 1 wing has one twin bedroom with an en suite shower room and shares another bathroom (shower over the bath) with the second twin bedroom. On the otherside of the living area are 2 twin bedrooms sharing a shower room. Hairdryers are supplied. There is air conditioning in all the bedrooms which can be used for cooling or heating and this is included in the price.
The property offers beach towels, as well as a cool box and umbrellas that you can take to the beach.
Outside the property is set in a good sized plot, fully fenced and gated, with mature gardens. There are extensive terraces that wrap around the villa, offering lots of different place to sit and enjoy a drink and food. There is also a small lawn area for the little ones to enjoy.
To the rear of the property and outside the kitchen is a large table and chairs so all the family can share the main meals together. This is close to the BBQ area and at night time it is well illuminated with plenty of outdoor lights. Casa Rostra has a secluded and well sheltered 8m by 4m heatable pool (1m to 2m depths) with roman steps, sun loungers for 8 and a waterslide (to be used at own risk). Furthermore, there is a shaded terrace with table and chairs for a spot of lunch. Also there are are steps leading to the first floor with table and chairs for clients to enjoy the views.
Casa Rostra is about 1.7km to the east of Carvoeiro and is just 300m from a lovely sandy beach, a couple of minutes walk from the nearest restaurant (take away available) and within a 5-10 minute walk there are another 3 restaurants. Carvoeiro with its shops, restaurants, bars and beach is about a 20 minute walk or around a 5 euro taxi fare. If you are keen on your sports, the 2 closest hotels allow clients to hire their tennis courts. Vale de Mihlo 9 hole golf course is about 20 mins walk, along with Rocha Brava and its tennis club. There area a number of championship golf courses within a 10 minute drive. Before you reach Carvoeiro, there is the Tivoli with its SCUBA diving school, based at Vale Covo beach. If you refer to the villa book there is a guide to lots more to do in the Algarve and contacts with a local transfer and tour company to offer you tickets and transport.

The pool will be heated to approximately 27C/28C, the pool cover must be used to cover the pool during the night and during the day when not in use for long periods.

The villa has lots of outside areas around the villa where we could eat . The garden was lovely. We used the pergola by the pool in the heat of the day but we could also sit on the roof terrace where there was a nice sea view. Inside the villa was cool-even on hot days and it was well equipped. The maid was excellent and came 3 mornings a week for a couple of hours each. We caught the mini- train to Ferragudo and ate at the fish restaurant on the front. Superb villa and location for family birthday celebration
"This is the first time we had been self catering abroad and this villa and it's location made it a fantastic holiday. The villa itself is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped, ( a maid visits three times a week providing fresh towels, bedding, etc) it has a lovely secluded swimming pool and different parts of the garden get sunshine nearly all day long.
The quaint fishing village of Carvoeiro is only a short distance away with it's shops and daily market (good selection of fish beautifully filleted for the BBQ) , whilst larger supermarkets are only ten minutes drive away - Apolonia supermarket, near Lagoa, very high quality. It is very convenient for local beaches and great cliff walks with an abundance of wild colourful flowers. Three generations of us stayed for over a week and all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to return.The fact that the villa is all on one level made it so much easier for everyone young and old.
The help given by Alex ( PAC Portugal Ltd) cannot be underestimated and it was great that he visited us a couple of times to ensure everything was fine, and gave us lots of useful information about the area. "Just Brilliant...We had a lovely time at this beautiful villa in July 2017. There was ample space for us (family of 5) and the pool was just perfect to cool down on a hot sunny afternoon. The villa was very well equipped and the A/C in the bedrooms came in very handy on a couple of evenings too. The nearest beach is only a few minutes walk away but there are quite a few steps to deal with - no problem if you're relatively fit and healthy though. We also made good use of the barbecue - the local supermarket sells charcoal and the butchery section within sells a tasty selection of meats. "Idyllic Getaway...We spent 10 nights at this beautiful villa in July/ August.The villa is spacious and spotlessly clean and is equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The bedrooms are all fitted with Aircon which is essential for a good night's sleep at this time of year. The outside area of the property is outstanding with well maintained gardens and a large pool . There is plenty of seating for all and a very pretty shaded area. We walked into town some evenings for dinner and took a taxi back which costs around 5 euros. On other evenings we made use of the BBQ. There are a variety of family games available in the villa and it was nice to put away the phones and I pads and use some of these.Even the younger members of our party got very competitive during a game of Cluedo . "Excellent close to local amenities...This is an excellent well equipped villa with a private pool and a sea view from the top balcony. It's set on a large plot with a well kept garden, garage and extra parking if required. Alex & Fernando from PAC for Portugal ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay and gave us all the information we required regarding local events and fiestas. The villa is situated about 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach which has a bar & restaurant and about 20 minutes slow walk to the main town centre. "Fabulous private villa in excellent location....We stayed here in August, 3 adults and 3 children. It was a great place to stay. The pool was a massive hit. Secluded and great fun. There are several places to sit around in the shade, more than enough sun beds for everyone. We had such a good holiday here. It's about a 15 minute walk into town where there are loads of restaurants and bars. There's a few restaurants closer - the Mona Lisa at the bottom of the hill is great for pizza - excellent staff there. If you're trying to choose whether or not stay here or somewhere else, I'd definitely stay here. It was perfect.. - Mark & Family August 2019
